Sankranti Vacation Extension Under Review in Telangana Schools
The Telangana School Education Department has initiated a review of the Sankranti vacation schedule for the academic year 2025–26. As per the notified calendar, holidays are scheduled from January 11 to January 15.
Sources indicate that an extension may be considered for non-missionary schools, taking into account festival travel and post-holiday attendance. Any final decision is expected to be communicated through an official circular.
TG TET January 2026 Hall Tickets Released; Exams Begin January 3
Hall tickets for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET) January 2026 session have been released. The computer-based examinations will be conducted from January 3 to January 31.
The examination outcome will play a significant role in upcoming teacher recruitment across government and aided schools in Telangana.
CBSE Revises Class 10 and 12 Board Examination Schedule
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the timetable for the 2026 board examinations. Class 10 examinations will commence from March 11, while Class 12 exams will be conducted from March 3 to April 10.
Schools have been advised to realign pre-board examinations, practicals, and revision schedules accordingly.
